Alex Zaborenko is a single dad of two boys: Sergei (20) and Gabe (11). He has been a full time single dad for Sergei for 12 years, and has shared custody of Gabe for 10 years. He spent most of the last 20 years self employed or as an entrepreneur. This includes 10 years as a Managing Partner in Dale Carnegie Training, where he facilitated and managed training and coaching for thousands of adults; helping them improve communications skills, interpersonal skills, leadership skills, presentation skills, sales skills, and self confidence.
This group is for any dad who is no longer in a relationship with mother of his children. You may be single, in a relationship with another person, or even be remarried.
2 months gives us enough time to connect deeply and to see the results of our actions without a long commitment. New 2 month sessions begin every month. You are encouraged to join a new session where you will have the chance to connect with more single dads and continue your journey.
The conversations will focus around our lives and what is important to us. The meeting starts with everyone in the group sharing successes and challenges they had since the last meeting. There may be a short education segment. We then have the Dad In The Middle portion of the meeting which takes the rest of the time. Dad In The Middle is where you get the opportunity to go into more detail about a challenge. The rest of the members brainstorm to help provide solutions. You will find that you’ll get more ideas and insights than you can generate on your own. Dad In The Middle can last from 10 to 15 minutes.
It is important to attend all meetings. Life of course can get in the way. A recording of the meeting will be available for all members to review and catch up.
A Mastermind is a small group of peers who share similar interests and goals. They meet on a regular basis to discuss issues or problems that members are facing, brainstorm solutions, and support each other. With the right group, you are surrounded with like-minded people who understand your mission and encourage you to pursue your goals.
Confidentiality is taken seriously. For a successful mastermind meeting, members have to know that what they say stays within the group. There will be no posting of videos or transcripts from the calls into any public domain without consent from anyone in the video.
